In 2025, the San Antonio Liver Cancer Symposium celebrates its fifth year of gathering doctors, researchers, medical students, patient advocates, and more to discuss advances in treatment for liver cancer and other related cancers. This year's symposium will be held Thursday, October 9, Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, at the Westin San Antonio North in San Antonio, Texas.
Details of this year's agenda are coming together, including the recent decision to add a third half-day conference on Saturday, October 11, focusing on Pancreatic Cancer titled "Updates in Diagnostics and Management of Pancreas Tumors." This conference provides a comprehensive update on the multidisciplinary management of pancreatic cancer, focusing on the critical roles of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and gastroenterology. The third day is free of charge. Anyone who has already registered for the first two days is welcome at day three without additional charge.
The symposium is currently open to free abstract submission. We welcome abstracts focused on liver tumors in the following categories:

Sukeshi Patel Arora, MD, is an associate professor in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at The University of Texas Health San Antonio and is the leader of the gastrointestinal malignancies and geriatric oncology program at Mays Cancer Center.
Danielle Fritze, MD, is an associate professor in the Division of Organ Transplantation at The University of Texas Health San Antonio. She specializes in liver and kidney transplantation and surgery of the liver, bile duct, and pancreas.
The Westin in North San Antonio will host the 2025 San Antonio Liver Cancer Symposium on October 9 and 10, 2025.
